Resource Sharing Network Connects Millions of Resources Statewide
As part of our continuing efforts to provide you with the most up-to-date and expansive collection of resources, Elyria Public Library has joined more than 100 Ohio libraries to bring you the MORE system. An acronym for Moving Ohio Resources Everywhere, MORE connects the circulating resources, books, music and video collections of more than 100 libraries throughout Ohio and allows you to request items from any participating location with the simple click of a button.
Whether you’re a book club member seeking a specific title, a student with a research project or a movie buff trying to locate that one special film, the MORE system gives you access to literally thousands of new resources. MORE greatly increases the likelihood that you will be able to locate not only the specific items you need – but also in the format you want. Plus, the system is simple to use. Even people who tend to shy away from technology will be comfortable using MORE to request and manage their transactions online.
All you need is your library card to access the system. If a particular resource can’t be located in our library catalog, you can use MORE to search the catalogs of participating libraries statewide. The network includes a diverse group of public, school, academic and specialized libraries from large cities, suburbs and rural communities, greatly increasing the chances that you will find exactly what you’re looking for.
